                   Welcome to the portal of Schlösschen Remda-Teichel!

On the edge of the beautiful Thuringian Forest, not far from Rudolstadt (incorporated in 2019) is the

City of Remda-Teichel.

The Remda-Teichel area is one of the oldest settlement areas north of the Thuringian Forest.

The oldest documentary mentions go back to 750 in connection with deeds of donation from the Fulda monastery. Remda received town charter in 1286 and Teichel in 1417. Remda-Teichel and the surrounding area offer many sights and beautiful nature. We would like to introduce a few selected sights and hiking routes to you here:
